HI, I’M NYKE, A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Nyke, the creator of this awesome blog! and I’m so happy that you have decided to stop by and check it out.

In real life, I am a music school owner. I have operated and owned my business for 16+ years, along with a staff of 10 additional music teachers and one front desk receptionist. I am a passionate music teacher and I teach private piano and voice lessons.

While, some people would probably describe me as introverted or shy. My clients/customers would more so describe as passionate and dedicated. But, I think I am a lot of everything mixed in. I enjoy being in deep-thought and figuring out difficult or complex things. Maybe that’s why I am starting this blogging journey?

I love coffee and trying new recipes in my instant pot and air fryer!!

MY REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE WITH PASSIVE INCOME

The opportunity  to start a business when I was so young and had little responsibility, presented a very unique opportunity and advantage for me. I feel that it truly created  the positive mindset and belief in myself that I could do anything and that life truly has no limits. 

I have been able to create and grow money for the past 16 years!!!

Today I am totally intrigued by the idea of making a living online and passive income through online outlets simply by providing information. In part, because I love how easy it is to learn new things and then teach it to other people. It’s so much fun and empowering.

When I started my business, I had nothing. So I am familiar with starting a business without a lump sum of cash or loan. Though I am not rich by any means, I definitely have learned a lot through the years that has allowed me so much freedom so that I can invest in myself, my future and so much more. I am thankful that I get to share with you the passive income business ideas I have learned throughout the years 

HOW I STARTED BLOGGING ABOUT PASSIVE INCOME SOURCES

Throughout the years of growing my business I began to feel trapped. Even though I loved my business, I didn’t have true freedom. There was always a need to find and hire new staff,  attract and acquire new customers and the business always needing me as the “answer” for all things. I started to realize that maybe I needed more of a break than a vacation could provide.

The pandemic allowed me to down-size my business. I began to be inspired by numerous articles online of people who were creating passive income streams via Etsy, Amazon KDP and more!

A Few fun facts about me:

  • I taught myself how to read music when I was 17
  • I’m a December Sagittarius-true to my sign. I am very lucky and very optimistic
  • Playing Classical piano taught me endurance, tenacity and perseverance. I have studied classical piano, voice and opera since age 16!, been singing since I was 3
  • Traveling the world is my favorite thing to do!
  • Culture and language is my 2nd fav, I have studied 3 languages and learned common greetings in all of them! I can say Hello in about 20 languages!
